Science

Throughout my entire life, science and the notion of discovery has always been a great passion of mine. I’ve competed in multiple science competitions and I’ve even been lucky enough to see Brian Greene lecture in New York City with my Dad. I would say my greatest interests so far are environmental science, green energy research and working to combat global warming. My first ever science experiment was a test on Drosophilla Flies and their reaction to different temperatures, and correlating with how other species may react to global warming. My most recent experiment has been the study of biofuels and microbial engineering.
There is never a limit to what we can learn about the world around us, which is why I particularly enjoy discovering and conducting hands-on science! It doesn’t matter if it means devising an experiment to address the significant and widespread issue of Climate Change and Green Energy, or something as simple as comprehending why the states of matter behave the way they do. I am confident that science and math will enable us to collaborate in order to implement renewable, clean energy solutions on a scale that will turn the trajectory we have set Earth on.
It is an incredible feeling to have the chance to contribute to the resolution of such important global problems, and I believe that this is where my future will be spent, at least for the time being.
